Loudoun Knights are officially returning for the 2025–26 season—and beyond!
After months of tireless advocacy and community support, Ion International Training Center will remain an ice facility under new ownership and management. The new team has committed to keeping both ice sheets in permanently, with plans to expand to four sheets of ice in the near future.
This is not just a win for the Loudoun Knights—this is a major victory for hockey in the DMV and youth sports in Loudoun County.
We’re proud to announce that the Loudoun Knights have secured Ion ITC as our long-term home, signing a new lease alongside the Washington Little Capitals. Even more exciting: the Loudoun Knights are now operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, strengthening our foundation and commitment to player development and community growth.
Tryouts & Supplemental Evaluations
While the announcement comes after 8U, 10U, and 12U tryouts have concluded, we will hold supplemental tryouts for all three age groups. For players at the 14U, 16U, and 18U levels, full-season teams are a go! Tryouts will take place at the same time as other Tier 2 programs in the region, beginning on April 26. Dates and registration are available here.
Stay Tuned for More
We’re actively finalizing the next phase of our relaunch, and there’s much more to come. Please be patient as we work through details and keep an eye on our website and social media pages for immediate updates.
From all of us at the Loudoun Knights: thank you for believing in this club. This is your win, too—and we can’t wait to build the next chapter of Knights hockey with you.
